Obituary of Dorothy Mae Snead
BRISTOL, Va.
DOROTHY MAE SNEAD, age 87, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at her home in Bristol.
Dorothy was Mommy to many and MeMe to everyone. Her favorite Bible verse was Isaiah 40:31, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Her strength and faith were in the Lord. Dorothy had a beautiful and Godly soul that was cherished and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Spillman; grandson, Reginald "Jamie" Stone; parents, Harmon and Della Whited Clark; and four siblings.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Teresa Tipton and husband, Vaughn, and Beth Jenkins, all of Bristol, Va.; siblings, Margaret, Darlene and husband, Jimmy, and Glen; grandchildren, Amy, Randy, Sarah, Rachel, Gabrielle, Evan and Camryn; great-grandchildren, Chentile, Danielle, Skyy, Anaka and Piper who is on the way; great-great-grandchildren, Landon, Kamryn and Mila.
At Dorothy's request, all services will be private.
